I have a friend who is into this, and he told me his opinion was that Lindbergh was responsible for the whole thing.

I don't know enough to have an opinion, other than Lindbergh was based AF, and whenever I think of him, I see his resting place overlooking the water in Hawaii. I've driven by it a few times.

I remember reading the story at about 10 yrs old in the "Stange Tales" (something like that) and thinking how sad and weird to harm a beautiful little child.

This theory makes sense, given the climate in our society now.

Several years ago I read how they finally traced the true murderer of the baby and it was Charles Lindbergh. It seemed that the baby was either a little deformed or mentally retarded and Chas. Lindbergh only wanted perfection in any child of his. I would guess he hired Bruno Richard Huffmann (sorry name may not be exact)to carry out the dastardly deed.
This is why Lindbergh was a fan of Hitler who planned on ridding the world of human "inferiors". People forget that along with Jews, many retarded and homosexual people were exterminated as well.
It might be said that he was "Lucky Lindy" by not being captured and tried for his child's brutal murder.
Whether Lindbergh's wife, Anne, knew about the plan is a mute point, but I would guess she was unaware.

Lindbergh paid $70,000 ransom(about $1 million in today's money) that was not found until Hauptman was found. There is no way Lindbergh would have done this thing. He was being considered a shoe-in for the Presidency if he wanted it. Mostly what he wanted was for White people not to be killing other White people. He made himself an enemy of TPTB--and they got their revenge.
