Polygamy always creates surplus males, since the ratio is 1:1 and if one man has 4 wives, then 3 will remain unmarried.

Well, in the long run it doesn't matter if they are welfare takers, come equipped with skills to make their own money or are rich- the end result will be the same. 1st-3rd generation Americans are quickly outnumbering the established population of people with ancestors here for hundreds of years. I hope you are right. I don't know what is so sacred about immigration. It should be used as a tool for the over all good of the nation and ebb and flow with the times. It has been increasing and excessive since the 1970s, so I don't know why it would hurt to say we are having a moratorium on it to reacess. They did it in the 1920s and it lasted until 1965.

The only time when immigration may be allowed is, if there is an equal number of male & female immigrants, a 1:1 ratio according to the Fisher Principle (see above), which is scientifically & socially stable.

However immigration is being allowed in from countries with surplus males and polygamous countries like Muslim ones, which is disastrous.
