All alcohol does, but a little red wine once in awhile is good for you...from what I've seen. Pretty much everything seems to be about moderation. Things are bad enough, there is no need to make anything up. ~Fluffy "Never interrupt an enemy in the process of destroying himself." Quercitin and zinc...Get it. Take it. User ID: 45352092 United Kingdom 02/09/2019 09:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes.. not only can it lead to cirrhosis of the liver, fatty liver disease and the likes but also inflamation of the stomach lining causing alcoholic related gastritis, alcohol dependance and all sorts of other problems too... I think a couple of beers in regulation/balance should be fine though.. keep within the recommended unit limits... it's best not to drink daily though, it's addictive too if you drink too much.. Anonymous Coward User ID: 76335367 Canada 02/09/2019 09:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My grandparents had a beer everyday and maybe 2. He lived to 96 and she lived to 97. They claim it improved their life. Both had their minds until the end but the body had failed. I don't drink at all but I think there is something to this. It is not the same for liquor though. With liquor death is much quicker and usually results in cancer of some type. |

Presqu'ile (OP) User ID: 77221064 Canada 02/09/2019 10:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Research shows that tropical fruits may lead to inflammation due to their high sugar content. These include mango, papaya, oranges and bananas, as well. While these fruits are full of fiber, digestive-aiding properties, and potassium, the high fructose content could affect people who are diabetic, and thus should be limited if any blood sugar problems exist.
