Except I've worked my way up from PT dishwasher to FT head of kitchen prep, and I haven't gotten a raise since in four years.

The owner is a multi-millonaire, and now I make 25 cents more than minimim wage.

There are people in my department who do nothing until overtime is activated. These people also have no personal life. They would live at work if they could.
I have children and a family, and do not want some no life ass holes at my work setting the standard for overtime expectations. I bust my ass and get far more done in eight hours than these jerks get done in 12 hours, and it goes un-noticed because my spineless boss is afraid to tell these slackers to get more done on straight time. There are people in my department who have worked there longer than the department manager (my boss), so they are untouchable and my boss let's them do what they want, because hes a pussy, and then all the real responsibility fall on me.
Fuck my pussy spineless boss. I owe him nothing, and he owes me a higher wage.
