If time travel was real we would all be aware of it and it would be an ordinary everyday thing we all would use.

Think about it...

At first it would be a secret invention. But as time passes, more people are "let in on it", then it gets tweaked with and upgraded. Maybe only certain people would know about it and use it. But after time, it would get out and eventually mainstream. Once everyone had access there would be so many people going back and forth that we would all see people of the future and after some shock and dismay people would get used to it and it would be just as normal as using cars, smart phones, and indoor plumbing.

Even if it was not invented until the year 3025, people would travel as far back as when man was first on the planet. And as early as man could comprehend that the tech is possible they would become part of the travelers.

This will start time wars. Any nation that has not yet or in the past did not set up experiments of this type have already lost the future.

If this is real then communication across time is possible as long as the experiments have existed.

You only need to be able to communicate from past to future to change time. People don’t need to travel. That maybe impossible. What is evident is some energy exists outside the space and time we exist within. Quantum may just be to small to be caught up in the curvature of space time. Does not mean humans can ever traverse through it in any meaningful way.

Not sure if you have ever seen Prince of Darkness, hugely underrated John Carpenter film...the premise is that people from the future are sending messages back through time using a similar type of idea. People are picking up a transmission in their dreams via light encoded with a tv broadcast.

It seems like there is definitely a possibility of some type of time travel via quantum mechanics. We perceive time as going forward, when in reality, time is an illusion....everything that has have ever happened is still happening, we only perceive the passage of time as real.

Now if I can only send my past self at age 20 a message to never hook up with that single mom who truend out to be a total whore, and also send myself the winning powerball numbers from this week.
