Why? What's he done to you for you to want him to lose it all?
Quoting: Jacek Coltutt Why should one person be allowed to make millions of dollars every year? I very highly doubt their "skill" will pay that much. Most of the skill in a business is at the bottom, the ones who do the work and actually make the money. Just because some guy invested money and took a risk on the backs of employees does not give him the right to make millions and millions of dollars each year. I feel the same way about athletes celebrities, even big youtube people. No one person needs that much money. And it's usually luck that gets someone in that position. Like I said they may have invested in a company and took a risk but at the end of the day it was a gamble, and thousands of people fail at it each year. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42079668 I literally do the work and make the money. You can poll any of my 37 employees. They will tell you I work harder and produce more value than any of them. I’m allowed to make millions per year because people voluntarily hand me their $ for a product that benefits them. I bootstrapped my company- never accepted investment and always paid fair wages. My company benefits are the envy of all- salary, 4 weeks paid vacation, Cadillac insurance (medical vision and dental), 401k marching, work from home, monthly drunken outings. Yes, I was very lucky. So what? I didn’t get to choose whether I was lucky or not. I built my company with my bare hands. I lost the love of my life, most friends and health because I worked 80-100 hours per week for years and years. I was/am obesessed with my job and I’m scared that if I stop working as hard as I have been then i might have to lay off staff. I won’t let that happen. Overall I think you have a jaded view of “rich” people. I’m not George Soros. I’m a MAGA lovin’ red blooded American who is pissed that we give “refunds” to millions of Americans while I’m paying in 37% and don’t get any free shit in return. We should all pay in so that we all have the same understanding of what’s happening in this country. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77114938 You got lucky. Thousands of people each year try to start their own businesses and fail. I tried too I wanted to just have a small car repair business, roadside. I took out a small loan, put up ads, I am also certified with years of experience. After posting ads every day over and over on every medium I could find for over a month guess how many calls I got for service? Zero. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42079668 I didn't even want to be rich either, I just wanted an income over 50k a year, without having to work for someone else. Guess affordable car repair just isn't in demand huh?
