It's actually pretty common from the people I know. My girlfriend, who is in customer service in the company she works for, received an $8.5K bonus in December as part of the company's profit sharing plan. She also received a total of $11.2K throughout the year in quarterly bonuses/profit sharing distributions. I know quite a few people that have similar situations. I employ exactly 0 secretaries. I actually care about every single one of my employees and work hard to allow them to grow their skills and advance within our company and their career as a whole. I spend 4 hours per week with open office hours mentoring anyone who cares to ask.
