If not a single person responds, go to the event and just stand there until you are dragged out of the building without having committed a crime

Yep. Those asshats have done it in my small conservative town and when you try to stop them they scream about persecution and trampling their civil rights. Even the good God fearing Christians that make up 95% of the population here have been cowed by these perverts and their willing accomplices in the media.
