Aw hell no! My local library is hosting Drag Queen Story Hour... (ARTICLE)

The police aren't going to do a thing. Nothing illegal about this. It has been going on all over the country. And parents actually happilly show up with their children.

In the Brooklyn Public Library, they held a makeup tutorial for ages 12-18 last year along with the Drag Queen Story Hour.

This workshop will:

Provide a safe space for kids to express their gender however they like.
Provide a positive queer role model and affirmation for all genders and identities.
Teach a skill for participants to learn and practice on their own.


The group who has made this possible is called
Change Agents.

Change Agents is a Brooklyn Public Library initiative modeling empathy, inclusiveness, mutual respect, and understanding for the benefit of NYC youth.

Even people who don't have a spiritual connection to the Bible should realize that it at least describes centuries of human nature.

Human nature hasn't changed all that much, if at all, through the generations.

Do what some other areas are doing. The library's have a maximum capacity of people that can be there at any given time. Find out that capacity and have all the adults go at this time. No children will be exposed to this debauchery.

Your government has failed you and betrayed you totally.

They are not going to stop pedophiles and transexuals from reading filthy stories to your children in open forum.

If you draw the line and lay down the law, then it's left up to you to become the law enforcement.

This is the area we live in. Berks and Montgomery used to be "conservative" areas. Not sure when it changed but it definitely has. I posted these threads a few years back because I am disgusted with how they are brainwashing our children and parents and taxpayers have no say in it. Im afraid of what this area will look like in 10 years. Are you aware that this is happening in this area?

But make that library understand that if they let these people into open reading forum, it means chaos at the library every single time.

I think my sister and I might take this route, even if we have to go church to church to rally.

The one mega-church by me has thousands of congregants, will be interesting to see if they are interested.

That's the last place I expect to hear of a "drag queen reading hour," for children...

If I lived there, I'd have to show up as a protester!

When your protesters show up, there's not going to be any reading time.

Children can't hear the story if a large group of protesters are shouting down the readers.

walk in there and be blunt, tell those poor children they are all a part of a systematic brainwashing on societies youth to confuse and turn them against their natural ways. and remove their connection to nature. I wish I were more diligent about being more blunt/truthful.

The truth hurts, but damned if it isn't the solution.

All because most people as a rule avoid talking politics and ideological orientation in public, in mixed company.

Today more people may be less hesitant to reveal they're transgendered or a transvestite than talk about their being liberal or conservative.

Into that vacuum has stepped the smug, self-righteous, self-entitled, I-know-better-than-you-do, my-heart-bleeds-more-than-yours-does left.

Another option to consider OP, I saw another town do this not a couple months ago.

Gather together enough like-minded people in your community, show up extra early, and take all the seats. Don't let children in there, not by force, but just because there is no more space for them.

It worked when the other town did this.

Important to keep in mind: heterosexuality is not a ticket to eternal life...we are all sinners... stay humble and don' task anyone who appears angry or belligerent to come... let the Holy Spirit do the work... God loves that!

talk to God: ask for insights on the man to know what to pray for: was he molested as a child (not uncommon), etc.

Ask God to remit his sins with the Blood of Jesus and to give him God's peace and joy.
