What is the most difficult I.Q. test that exists?
I find this interesting because theoretically, there is no upper-end to this limit.

Please, stump us all!

Imagination, education, and determination. Apply all 3 at all times and you will pull through.

Have a Psychologist give you the test. Timed and serious pressure.

The online bullshit I was always getting 150+. On the real test took it twice and 136 was my high score.

I'm a MENSA reject.

I've thought about hitting them up... even thought that sounds ridiculous.

But it is interesting, how much time do they give you, and is that fair?

We woudn't have Da Vinci if being slow, deliberate, and thoughtful was discouraged.

Go into any Church of Scientology Org. They have one that gives a pretty good indication of your intelligence. It is a timed test. If I remember correctly there are 75 questions and you only get 20 minutes to complete it. I could be wrong on the time allowed. It was the last I.Q test I would ever subject myself to, simply because of the stress it put me under. 140 was my score.
Just go in for the test and nothing else.

What concepts was it based around, I seem to do really well with the pattern recognition stuff.

Honestly, I've never gotten any of these types of questions wrong... it might take me a minute or two but if only one answer fits, well...

My late husband would never shut up about his alleged skill at pattern recognition and his (barely) genius IQ. Quite a bore actually. Yet, he never noticed the pattern that led 4 of his ex-wives to cheat on him. So, I would say there was something wrong with a test that gives a score based on one factor alone.

Assessments are of two basic types. Some are speed based, i.e. how many questions can you answer correctly in "x" minutes. Others are based on power meaning there is no time limit, you go for as long as you can and stop when you have no clue what you're looking at.

The other issue needs addressing is a complex one, you have to define in a useful way what you mean by the term intelligence. Is it mathematics? Verbal reasoning? Logical processes? Musical ability? Artistic skills?

If you want a measure of general intellectual intelligence which is what most people refer to when using the phrase "I.Q" you'd have to have a licensed psychologist adminiter the Wechcler Adult Intelligence Scale. The bill, with interpretation, is going to run you $400-$650 depending on where you reside.

IQ tests are subjective due to which questions you get compared to what areas you are strong in. You can be strong in math and weak in arts, etc.

Best to take 3 different ones and average out the scores.

However, the "most difficult" would be the ones that Pelosi and Maxine Waters passed. Those would be flawed tests.
