What I find even more descriptive are all the people cheering and laughing at the idea she's dead.

Taking an actual joy in her passing.
Disgusting animals.

Make no mistake. Those who would use her death as a tool to manipulate the political landscape here in the U.S. are the disgusting animals.

Nothing is sacred with them. Not life. Not death.

Yeah. It's shameful behavior. Simply tactless.

I mean, if you want to internally/privately/even publically celebrate somebody's demise, it's certainly your right. Some people are indeed so evil that news of their death should be cause to bring out the beers.

There's no argument against stating she advanced the agenda of those who wish to curtail our freedoms, certainly. And there's nothing wrong with, if she is indeed dead, feeling good about the supreme court seat being open.

But there is a difference between those who do the wrong thing but think they are helping, and those who do the wrong thing because they're simply evil or a sociopath.

Is there enough out there to make the determination that she was that second sort of rights-taker?

Certainly enough to confidently brand her as one who acted contrary to the interest of the country, but truly so evil we should dance that she's worm food?

I'm not comfortable branding her with that albatros and celebrate the fact that she's dead as a vengeful sort of schadenfrueden to 'make up' for her slights against the nation? Meh. Engaging in behavior like that can't be good for your soul and moral growth. But I degress!

If I may be so bold as to make a request of those of us who post, I would ask that we please do not post crude, ghoulish remarks celebrating death for death's sake. We're better than that. Remarks like that are what THEY do, not what WE do. Don't lower ourselves to their so-low-they're-crawling-on-their-bellies level, and don't give them ammunition by providing quotes they can plaster around to show how ghoulish we are by partying over the passing of a Supreme Court justice.

Additionally, look at history - movements, political parties, countries, religions. The ones that started out strong. Then they slowly began losing their morals. And, not long after that, they collapse. I'm not a religious person, but a good analogy to draw is once you start speaking/doing immoral things, you lose the endorsement and protection of God that you had when you were pure.

If you chose to do it anyway, know you're gradually chipping away at your own humanity and giving them the metaphorical ammunition with which the enemy can stockpile and then expend to advance their agenda. I can't see how that's a good idea.
