Over the years, we've sent food, wine, little trinkets, a piece of jewelry; once I even sent her some of my favorite marbles, with a dress, because I still like to collect marbles, in my dottage.:) It's about love and very personal appreciation so I'll keep celebrating it with her as long as we're both around. |

Also the mindless masses are easily influenced and pressured by advertising (and mainly female driven peer pressure) so they get played for the fools they are. I strongly recommend everyone have a great relationship the other 364 days of the year. Then you won't feel any pressure to make up for anything on Valentine's Day. (And try not to forget the wife's birthday or your anniversary.
