Do men really care if Valentine's Day even exists? Or just go along for the ride?

I don't care about my own birthday, so no not really.
But I'm not in a relationship so that's different.
Quoting: BFD Me either but my mother and I started a little tradition of it long ago and still like to give each other treats on that day, and I'm a lady. First time I remember that really got us started was when I was about 20, studying my ass off and had no time for anything else, was always tired. On Valentine's Day, she sent me a box of candy, some perfume and a nice bottle of Scotch, just for me.:) It was completely unexpected and lifted my mood amazingly. Over the years, we've sent food, wine, little trinkets, a piece of jewelry; once I even sent her some of my favorite marbles, with a dress, because I still like to collect marbles, in my dottage.:) It's about love and very personal appreciation so I'll keep celebrating it with her as long as we're both around.
