I think you miss the point I’m trying to make. As this crap goes on it starts to harm more and more people. The national park situation was starting to affect hours for restaurant and hotel workers near the Great Smoky Mountains. The only thing that slowed it was time of year not the volunteers trying to keep think working.

The vast majority of Americans are private sector and when they hear govt workers whine about their gauranteed incomes funded by American taxpayers by threat of gunpoint, it only alienates you more. No. Not threat of gunpoint. When I took this job at lower pay it was for the benifiits. The insurance at that time. In 95. Now I’m so far invested I can’t see why I would leave. If this Gov wants to fix the border they would have done it in the past 100 years. Don’t put it all on one generation to do it all now. People are paying taxes at gunpoint. You think IRS agents aren't armed? Stop being selfish and think outside your govt bubble for once.
