Marriage is a three-way covenant with God...a spiritial union meant to teach us about the spiritual union to come in Heaven.

The Bible consistently uses marriage metaphors to represent our relationship with Jesus. You could even say that, just as Eve was created for Adam, all of creation was made for Jesus. It is a story of God finding a bride for His Son.

To reduce marriage to sad jokes is to pitifully miss everything.

Just look at what eschewing marriage and divorce has done for the western culture in just the last 2-3 decades. You look at these results and call them good?
