Doesn't proper journalistic protocol dictate that, before someone has been convicted of something, the use of the term "alleged" be used? The bottle, which was found by New York Post reporters who retraced Smollett's path through Streeterville the night of the attack, was sent to a lab for analysis.

OMG - some reporters happened to stumble across some evidence that the PD could not manage to find?! I'm calling major BS on this.

Anybody could have planted that there. Evidence found this late in the game would not even be admissible in the court of law for very obvious reasons.
