Remember when women actually dressed like women and wore skirts, dresses, pantyhose, and heels? | |

I feel a little over-dressed at the office sometimes, but I like to think I'm doing my part to preserve the art of femininity. I enjoy being a girl and am not ashamed of my "old fashioned" values. Women should look and act like women. Men should look and act like men. Period! I'm happy to know there are a few of us out there who still appreciate this. First time I wore a dress in 10 years, since my middle daughter's wedding. I wore leggings and knee high boots with the dress and was still freezing !!! Quoting: tiger1 No more dresses for me !!! Well that's weird because leggings are warmer than your typical pants. Wool tights are also very warm. I can't wear wool, as I am allergic to it. I was really cold ! Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |

Time for the great cleansing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74134746 Yeah, it's so practiful to wear that in snowdrifts. That extreme scenario accounts for like 1% of cases. Women in the past still managed snowdrifts in dresses anyway. Women never take responsibility for their bullshit which is why they shouldn't have any authority except over children. |

Her answer ended the engagement. That was my only request...not stockings and another girl, not stockings and a prenup - just stockings. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77369577 Got damn I got lucky getting out of that! You committed the cardinal sin of making a wedding even a teeny tiny bit about something else other than the woman and what she wants. The gynocentrism is off the charts right now. I wonder, what was her response? |

That's like me taking a ballgown, changing it to, say, a camo color, adding some cargo pockets, and then saying I look masculine in it. MarkinAZ User ID: 16624192 United States 02/13/2019 04:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, and it was erotic and great to see them dress or undress. But that was forty or fifty years ago. Today if you want that kind of woman, well, you hope that you can afford the type of hooker that costs $1000/evening and up, and who wears La Perla underwear, etc. Or you can find a transexual who knows how to dress like a lady. Both will be equally costly over any appreciable amount of time. The tranny will be far more interesting if she’s got it down to the science it once really was. Good luck. “Normal” or “regular” women don’t bother with those kinds of things to day. Oh, a few of the Beverly Hills and Park Avenue gold diggers still pull it off. But the truth is that it costs a lot to do it. And without some guy to support them, where do they get the time to go to the gym, train, hairdresser, manicure, pedicure, and more. Much more. The facial, the dermatologist, the fillers and botox as needed. Then there is the wardrobe. Figure on a minimum of $30,000 per season. Of course now there are really only 2 seasons. Summer (preceded by spring) and Winter (preceded by fall). The overlap of clothing is the addition of a light coat, or a sweater over a sun dress. Or a cape vs a raincoat, with a lining that can be added or subtracted depending on season and temps. Shoes? They can figure on 700 per pair for the good ones. Knock-offs can fill in but who wants the knock-offs when you know the real ones are out there? |
