Thank you for this post, OP. I've been reading regularly about all that keep coming across the border, some bussed and some walking or swimming. It goes on day and night, this invasion. It has got to be stopped - we are already over-full and need to put out the NO VACANCY sign everywhere!

These people who act like there isn't a problem drive me crazy. I live in rural Georgia and a few years ago we had a sprinkling of Hispanics. Now, you go to the grocery store or Walmart and it's like 8 Hispanics to every non-Hispanic. Our schools have turned so that the younger grades are 80% Hispanic. They are throwing up old broken down trailers everywhere in the county and several families live in each. Meanwhile, the rest of us are building them brand new schools, teaching them English, putting in roads, feeding them. It's just plain bizarre that some people cannot see what a problem it is becoming. We are even getting cliques of kids at school who talk Spanish and insult everyone who is not Hispanic because most of the teachers and the non-Hispanic kids don't speak the language. Our kids get suspended for calling one of them a name, but they just yell it out and think it's funny.

The porosity of the southern Texas border has not appeared to have been corrected for 40-50 years, from personal experience. Worked with many illegals on construction jobs, no one seemed to be concerned. A few of the guys on the crew, would get off work on Thursday, intentionally lurk at certain locations sure to get a good look by INS. They would be arrested and transported back to border for expulsion after processing. Would be back at work Monday, sometimes some would show up Tuesday. They were using these roundups to get free transportation home for the weekend. It was a game to them.
