If you can, buy from a real butcher shop that grinds up solid flesh for hamburger. The article said they used "trimmings" formerly reserved for animal food, but I fear most slime comes from pressure blasting the carcass for the last of the fleshy tissue. If there is Wasting Cow Disease in the cow, it's in the nerve tissue released by pressure washing it. What do they do with the cow's brain tissue? |
