I thought about getting one all two seconds before dismissing the idea because I would get bored with it and want to change it and tattoos are permanent. Plus I think tattoos make the skin look dirty. Quoting: 2hot2handle Other than that, I really don't care if someone gets a tattoo or several. It's not me walking around with it. I lived out in the Western states for a while (think desert with a bunch of shallow retards, but not Vegas) and on more than one occasion I was treated like I was strange for NOT having any tattoos. Sick fucking people everywhere, I guess. |

The ink is really pigment, and most are made of metal salts; however, some are made of plastics or vegetable dyes, and if organic, they're usually plant-based. Body-art lovers have complained of scarring, allergic reactions, and phototoxic reactions (adverse reaction to light or sunlight), and depending on the type of pigment, other complications can occur. Brightly colored plastic-based pigments have been particularly problematic for some, and glow-in-the-dark tattoos can be radioactive and toxic. FDA has not approved any tattoo pigments for injection into the skin Tattoo parlors are regulated by the state and city, but the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not require manufacturers to release their ink's ingredients; doing so could supposedly give away trade secrets. The lack of regulation is slightly unnerving considering that 36 percent of people ages 18-25 have tattoos, as do 40 percent of those 26-40 years old. That means approximately 45 million Americans have been inked, and one-third of those did so because it makes them feel "sexy." Unfortunately, what makes you feel sexy now, could possibly make you feel sick later. The chemicals and heavy metals in tattoo ink can cause various forms of cancer, birth defects, certain mutations, and be destructive to your immune system. After all, nearly half of the population has decided at some point in their life that it was a good idea to permanently ink an image, or special symbol, onto their skin. Many hold no regrets when it comes to their tattoos; however, others embrace them less so with age. Quoting: Putin's Voluntaryist But now there's a new reason to rethink getting inked. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70422670 But when fat old housewives and stupid young kids get tattoos down their legs and on their neck or even their faces with pictures of skulls and stupid cartoon characters, that is NOT independent thinking! In fact, it is nothing more than the herd mentality of weak minded fools. THINK! they are turning their skin black because their sisters, aunts, nieces, girls they have sex with are one with Black Source consciousness, they are being absorbed into the Abyss is your consciousness enough to lift the entire collective up a million year? or will you be absorbed like a drop of water into the ocean, the loss of self pass the threshhold to retain consciousness in the abyss is eternal death |

To stupidly put dark magick sigils on your body for life when you have no idea how evil the sigils or symbols really are is nothing less than pure insanity! Putting tattoos of dark sigils or symbols on your body(your temple) is exactly the same as putting a fucking iron collar around your neck for life! And young kids are doing exactly that very damn day! Yes. Triteia |

Tattoos have been prevalent going way back in history among many tribes throughout the world. Dedicated to the brave men who fought and laid down their lives on the beaches of Normandy and the plains of Europe . . . that their sacrifice was not in vain. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] |
