The ark who keeps or covenant is Jesus. When you read the first few chapters of Joshua, the crossing of the Jordan river is loaded with prophetic symbolism. First the priests holding the ark touch the river and the river stops all the way back to the city of Adam. Jesus death reversed the curse all the way back to the time of Adam. Then the rest of the people follow "about 2000 cubits" behind that (as in about 2000 years) to enter the promised land (Heaven in the end times). Jesus who is the ark that keeps our spiritual covenant is wrapping things things up in the next 10 years.
