I am not in Shasta, but down south of Oroville. The Beale radar site he mentions is actually located at the Thermalito Forebay downstream from Oroviile dam.

I can verify what he said about the oak leaves. I have two Pin Oaks, and the leaves turn brown in the fall and hang there all winter until the new leaves emerge in the spring.

We did not get snow here, but got a crazy amount of rain from that storm. Example:
