You actually believe that the tech is sufficient to quell the response of 10 million or more armed citizens (intimately familiar with their terrain, and many of them former military skilled in the art of guérilla tactics) that choose to respond appropriately to individuals attempting to enforce an illegal and unconstitutional edict? Individuals that will then necessarily be considered treasonous, enemy combatants (no longer protected by our rule of law)? In a media environment that no longer holds sufficient sway to influence public perception because they’ve already lost all credibility in the eyes of the majority?

Note Afghanistan, Vietnam, and just about any other modern day (armed) society that decides to fight, and get back to us.

If only one out of each hundred people in the US with guns decided at the same time that it was time to end this bullshit it would end in less than a week. Yeah. Ukraine made some highly advanced anti-aircraft detection systems, helicopter engines, transport aircraft, AK-47 ammo, and ballistic missile rocket engines.


The rebels were poorly armed until the government sent the 75th paratroop brigade to crush the rebellion. Most of them defected to the rebel side with their heavy weapons and anti-aircraft guns.

The rebels took over the helicopter engine factory and the Kolchuga anti-aircraft systems factory. They traded the assembly lines to Russia for more weapons.

ISIS was SOL for the AK-47 ammo that Ukraine had been supplying them with, it was now being used locally by the rebels.

Rebels bought drones from the civilian market for spotting artillery.

With Russia boycotting their missile rocket engines, Ukraine's western backed governemt sold what they had to North Korea. Despite highly publicized budget cuts, the North Korean army unveiled its Hwasong-14 ballistic missiles. They were powered by Uzhmash rocket engines from Dnipro, Ukraine.

China bought Ukraine's Antonov Aircraft assembly lines and the factory went to building subway cars.

New recruits to the rebel side were soon getting modern equipment.

Not true. They wouldn't be pushing for gun control if their "advanced weapons" rendered firearms obsolete.
