Let’s just take McDonald’s and In-n-out for an easy example. Go to ANY micky d’s and the workers are let’s say not the brightest bunch nor are they very clean, and most are missing teeth (even in the rich area of our town). Now when I go to the in-n-out which is located pretty much in the ghetto the workers are not only diverse but clean cut, friendly, make a decent wage, and care about your experience. This in most part because the way a corporation works is needing to perpetually make more money than the year before or they are considered a failure. Being beholden to share holders is the issue. At some point after they have lowered the quality of the product with inferior components to the point of not losing all their customers, they then need to go to the next scam which is giving us less while using the same packaging, then after they have squeezed every dime out of those two tactics they cut wages. After that the govt bails them out, they build plants overseas and cut their overall labor costs even more. Let’s not forget about the R&D they build into the cost of a product for planned obsolescence to keep you buying more or in micky d’s case ddictive additives that are poisonous...



A family or private company has the ability to pay its workers a liveable wage, provide good working conditions, and treat its workers as actual human beings. Not being concerned with some person buying stocks from the bullshit sham that is the stock market.

I will say this about Mikey D and other fast food places. The product has definitely shrunk over the years, the quality is less, the service is less friendly and the prices have risen. For the amount of money I pay to get a burger, fries and a drink, I can pay out about $3 more and get A REAL MEAL AT A REAL LOCALLY OWNED RESTAURANT. No shit. You are right about that.
