Skip the chips, grab the...crickets? Edible crickets are coming to H-E-B
EXO Protein will be putting their cricket products on the shelves at more than 80 HEB's statewide.

AUSTIN, Texas — When you want a quick snack, something crunchy and salty usually hits the spot.

So, how about you grab some...crickets?

An Austin company that's launching in H-E-B stores next week is hoping you'll keep an open mind.

Mohammad Ashour, the founder and CEO of EXO Protein, said the sustainability and high protein content of crickets make them a perfect snack..

Thats what the U.N. would rather have you eat, than meat.

Part of Agenda 21/Agenda 2030 is to get rid of farm animals, and have people only eat insects and worms for protein.

I've had chocolate covered crickets (maybe they were grasshoppers) and they were good.

I also have had something called "honey-ants". These were the dried thoraxes of ants who had gorged themselves on honey. These were excellent.

I'd try these.

I went to one of the most expensive steak houses in Oaxaca City (on the second floor overlooking the zocalo), I ended up eating three plates of them and then just got a salad. They were awesome. I wasn't even paying! I could have gotten a $75.00 steak and no one would have cared!

Maybe a win for Austin (very liberal city), but I doubt hardly the remainder of Texas will go for them.

Mohammed Ashour has opened up a 25,000 sq foot warehouse in Austin, Texas that houses (farms) the crickets. His company is called Aspire. It won a million dollar grant while he was in Canada from the Clinton Global Initiative program.
