Alpha males don’t exist in wolfpacks and they don’t exist in society. The guy who originally coined the phrase was studying wolfpacks and he was later proven wrong. Society itself is the complete opposite of the wild and there is no evidence that the theory would hold true even if we were “wild”. If the alpha theory were true; you’d pretty much always want your boss because he is dominant over your work group. So, do you always have urges to fuck your old, goofy looking, awkward ass boss just because he has power over you and you co-workers. I doubt it.

There are dominant men and leaders. But most men have an area where they are dominant in or lead in. You might think a guy is a total beta and it turns out he is a lead guitarist in his spare time or maybe that super nerd is beta everywhere you’ve ever seen but is total dominant in his little video game group.
