I’ve never noticed this before, but there are horns present on the head of Moses in many old paintings, sculptures, tapestries, stained glass windows, etc... I find this to be a bit disconcerting.

Re: Why does the Biblical figure Moses have horns on his head in many old works of art?
Thank you for the stars. Some think this was perhaps due to a mistranslation & that it was meant to show rays of light emitted from the head of Moses. In a few of these depictions, it does appear that the “horns” are indeed light. In many depictions of Moses, including Michaelangelos, these are very obvious horns.

I would love to hear opinions on why Moses has been shown in such a way. It seems kind of creepy, in my opinion.

Yes there are horns depicted in paintings & sculptures. I remember reading about this a few years back but for the life of me I can't remember what the connection was. I wanna say Nephilim or something like that was the topic but I can't remember anymore.

Dangit OP... lol, now I have to go & look it up again cause it's gonna bug me till I remember.

12 clans of Egyptian slaves are 12 kinds of fallen angels. Moses was one of them. So he also was with horns.

Rays of light shined from his face after he spoke to G-d on Mt Sinai.

It was so severe he wore a veil ever since then.

Exodus 34:29-35 New International Version (NIV)
The Radiant Face of Moses
29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord. 30 When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him. 31 But Moses called to them; so Aaron and all the leaders of the community came back to him, and he spoke to them. 32 Afterward all the Israelites came near him, and he gave them all the commands the Lord had given him on Mount Sinai.

Qeren and Qaran are certainly very close in spelling, so maybe the simplest answer is the obvious answer in this case. It cannot be discounted. Thank you.

Keren is noun means either horn or beam.

Karan is verb past tense means to beam.

You can see why beam and horn have the same word, they create the same shape and motion.

People were more humble and honest in those days.
Now they proclaim "what horns? Moi?" and are not regarded at all

I have seen a couple of your posts, it seems that it is you that has an underlying hatred.

But you are right in a certain way, there has been a hatred for the "Old covenant". I am sure you are familiar with Marcion and the gnostics. There has been an infiltration for sure. Yahushua was never against the Torah, he spoke a lot about it. In fact He was very much against the traditions of the Pharisees that made void the plain commandment of the Torah.

About the horns, well what can you expect from those who make statues and bow down in front of them.
