Why does the Biblical figure Moses have horns on his head in many old works of art? | |

Some think this was perhaps due to a mistranslation & that it was meant to show rays of light emitted from the head of Moses. In a few of these depictions, it does appear that the “horns” are indeed light. In many depictions of Moses, including Michaelangelos, these are very obvious horns. I would love to hear opinions on why Moses has been shown in such a way. It seems kind of creepy, in my opinion. |

I remember reading about this a few years back but for the life of me I can't remember what the connection was. I wanna say Nephilim or something like that was the topic but I can't remember anymore. Dangit OP... lol, now I have to go & look it up again cause it's gonna bug me till I remember. It cannot be discounted. Thank you. Keren is noun means either horn or beam. Karan is verb past tense means to beam. You can see why beam and horn have the same word, they create the same shape and motion. |

But you are right in a certain way, there has been a hatred for the "Old covenant". I am sure you are familiar with Marcion and the gnostics. There has been an infiltration for sure. Yahushua was never against the Torah, he spoke a lot about it. In fact He was very much against the traditions of the Pharisees that made void the plain commandment of the Torah. About the horns, well what can you expect from those who make statues and bow down in front of them. |

I find this to be a bit disconcerting. Quoting: Rabbit In The Hat [link to neuroclusterbrain.com] Moses represented age of Taurus (Bull); Jesus represented the age of Pisces (Fish) |
