I left the house at 8pm and it was 50 degrees but felt colder. I get to work in NO an hour later and it’s 70 degrees and feels like 80. I’ve never had that much of a temp change in that short of a distance. Something is going on weird or outta the norm. Another point about the things to watch for with the Caribbean plate, OP, is the risk for GIANT underwater landslides beyond the southern edge of Cuba...There are what appear to be "stairsteps" going down into deeper and deeper regions of the Gulf of Mexico most likely having been the result of a shattering of the crust in that area from the asteroid or comet that hit. This video is an interview with Dr. Starr Hull who has studied the Caribbean extensively and has major concerns about the geology of this area. Underwater slides could cause mega tsunamis along the Gulf Coast states with little or no warning. Also, check out the image of the Caribbean with that video--you can clearly see the sheer cliffs underwater. [link to youtu.be (secure)]  Interview with Dr. Starr Hull who informs us of Caribbean dangers to the U.S. Gulf States. Notice the topographical map which shows the "stepped appearance" of underwater slide areas. It would be a good idea--for reasons on many levels-- to move away from coastlines in the next 3 decades.  O'sCookie Thank's O'sCookie, I found this video from June 2016 that explains in detail what is occuring, and even just 3 years ago these deep earthquakes were rare, now they are happening daily with quakes at 40Km or greater around the world. If the earth is 3-5 Billion years old, possibly older, Its conceivable that the large gravitational field of a old neutron star would attract alot of comets, meteors and other masses through time. It may be the reason we have oceans and an atmosphere compared to no other planets that we have found so far. I know the earths mass itself is enough to give it the gravity that it needs, But the neutron star would also account for some of the weird readings we have had from Antarctica - the random neutrinos and other gammy rays, etc. If it is a neutron star that is that old, It could conceivably collapse into a black hole. If thats not what is already in the middle of the earth. Check out this scientists blog. But Poland is either wrong on one front, or he’s being intentionally misleading.
