The Mexican was reaching into where she could not see before she walked around the car. THAT should have been weapon drawn, call for backup right then. He could have held a firearm under his arm where she would not have seen it and blew the drivers side window out and hit her as soon as she approached.

Maybe because she is a female she gave the guy more trust than he obviously deserved, maybe she was thinking something else, hopefully a full review will find things like this out.

Either way she is damn lucky she didn't get shot or killed and a scumbag is hopefully deader than canned tuna and the result was all good.

The way I was taught, the M1 Garand and similar rifles use clips, otherwise they are magazines. The clip is just a holder for the ammunition. A magazine is the spring loaded housing that pushes the rounds into the weapon.

Back to the subject of this thread, The officer's approach to the car wasn't a textbook example of police work, but the perp is dead, and that is what counts. One less illegal carrying drugs and wetbacks into America.

Err of course a woman can do this job if she can handle a gun as demonstrated.
