Magnesium - Need some advice from the GLP experts.
I need to incorporate Magnesium and Potassium since my levels were borderline low. Right now, I'm just focusing on getting the best Magnesium but it's a little confusing compared to other supplements.

I say this because I read this website below which list several types of Magnesium. How do I choose the right one for me? I'm interested in one that will provide good sleep, help with anxiety, nervous system, energy levels, lower cholesterol since it was borderline high, and well absorbed. I've incorporated brown rice which is supposed to really help with lower cholesterol. I shall see if this is true later.

I'm looking for a good brand that's reputable and has shown good results. Preferably, I would like an organic or atleast non-GMO supplement to take every evening.

Any experts here on Magnesium care to chime in with some advice. I could really use a little help in selecting the correct one.

It's the first time I've heard that different magnesium compounds have different functions in the body.

The way I understood it is that these different compounds have different magnesium content and absorption rates but once absorbed and broken down into its components, the magnesium acts exactly the same, because it is the same mineral.

With calcium as a seperate suppliment.

Mag is used up all the time by your body, so you almost always start out in the hole. The rda will not get you to ground level just keeps the hole from getting deeper.

So went i start a round, i start with the rda. Next day add a pill. Next day add another pill. Ect until about day 4 your ass will explode. Welcome to ground level. Next day mi us one pill, etc until you get to rda.

Id probably skip the taurine one, since i drink a lot of red bull. The main thing is the magnesium, your body will sort out where it goes. All of the ones you listed are slants on the basic mg function.

Your list tells you magnesium glycinate wil relax you. That seems to be the one you want to take in the evening.

You could also look for a magnesium complex combining them all.

I’d avoid the ones that energize in the evening.

Also look for magnesium from food sources—always better than swallowing capsules and pills.

OP, Our entire nation is suffering from lack of Mg, natural sources best.

Green leafy vegetables are excellent or a 'green powder' drink.

As for the pills go to a GNC or health shoppe and ask the counter help for a Mg and K formula.

Yes there are a lot of choices, can't recommend and brand at the moment.

I personally recommend Sprouts and micro greens at midday meal.

best o luck

this.

The world food supply is short on minerals that our bodies need.
Raping the soil of nutrients by over-planting and never letting the land rest, combined with spraying poisons twice a year has killed the world's food supply of nutrient rich produce.

Transdermal Magnesium Oil

This is the best form in my opinion. You can use a funnel to pour into a small glass bottle. Spray on skin as needed throughout the day. We notice a huge difference.

We used to use Calm...also on Amazon. (Peter Gillham) It works well but I believe transdermal is better.

Epsom Salt is the cheapest and works well.

Not a fan of Kale but absolutely love chicken and Avocados. Usually buy about 6 large avocados every time I hit the store. And yes, I prefer organic first and then non-GMO second. Seriously, I have notice a huge improvement not only in my health but my families health since we switched over to Organic/non-GMO. I live in rural farm land and my dad is a farmer/rancher so I tend to get plenty of organic foods with out the retail costs or we barter. Thank you
