Can you run them individually through Audacity and get a visual on the wavelengths for comparison?

Probably, I just use free software, I'm not an expert

But to those who want to try, I did post the source videos I used.

When I get home from work later, I could superimpose the two voices, played on top of one another, I guess. That would be another way to hear it.

Thanks for the pins, and the stars

Like I said, I'm not an expert

I did this after work just to see if they were even remotely close sounding.

Answer, yes.

Definitive proof? No.

I'm personally still undecided about the Fab Four's bass player, and I've seen plenty of wavelength images and audio comparisons...still not sure either way.

All I do know, is that you can change your appearance much easier than quickly changing your voice.

A voice might well sound similar, in the same person, over a period of several years.

Thanks again GLP. Now off to my real job!

hmm...maybe. These 2 samples show very different deliveries,In the Lanza one i hear monotone , unemotional, exactly pronounced words and phrases given in a inwardly .precise manner while the other is the opposite, boisterous and loose, accentuating certain words for effect. Emotional and outwardly appealing . Of course any good actor could exhibit both traits.
The key to matching these 2 is to find similar multi syllable words used by both and then compare and contrast these.

1. People that look alike WILL OFTEN sound alike because your voice is dependent on your pipes/facial structure

(Family members who look alike often sound alike. They are a good example of this. You call the house and you don't know which one picked up...)

2. They end their words differently, one is more clipped at the end of his words.

But yes they are similar.

Adam Lanza never existed. He's a fictionalized character, created for the exercise/hoax.

Cool..except that Adam Lanza never existed.

Could they have based Hogg off Lanza? Maybe.

What if it was the opposite: that Lanza was a role played by Hogg, that "they" gave Lanza psychedelic drugs his mom thought he was beyond help and agreed to a lobotomy. They brought the zombie home.
That a.m., Hogg and Lanza dressed alike. The mom was killed to silence her, Hogg went to the school and did his part. Lanza was shoved in thru a window that had no camera, shot and left, Hogg went out thru the same window, into the suv and away.

Mimicking accents is like Acting 101. How many years between Sandy Hook and Parkland did Lanza/Hogg have to change his accent? The best CIA agents can speak multiple languages fluently mimicking various regional accents when necessary, and can do it on the fly on demand.

Nice point on #1. Are you a specific kind of doctor/nurse/therapist where you studied this or did you just come up with this on your own? By all means, it feels/sounds/seems right.

One thing I have found out in the past, more so years ago, but children tended to pick up the mother's accent in the family more so than the fathers. I believe that to be because the mother was around the children more. But over the past 20 years or so, that isn't really the case anymore unless they are in a traditional family. This is not based on anything but my experience. I like things like this, including birth order/placement. Lot's of fun.
