Honestly if your kids end up in colllege you’d be hugely improving your balance sheet with Bernie’s free college plan.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75163098

Nothing is free. Why do you think you feel so poor with your $200k in the commie east coast? It is becuase of the so-called "free" stuff that you end up paying for it through other means that make your $200k feel poor. By the way, the real middle class families in Free America who don't make more than $80k aren't going to be crying tears that you upper class $200k people are paying more taxes.

Re: Just Filed My Taxes, Loving the Tax Cuts!
Wtf. Car loan defaults are through the roof.

39% of mortgages are more than 3 months late.

And under Trump they STILL fudge the fuck out of unemployment numbers...not counting those that stop looking...

And majority of new jobs pay jack shit

Add the continued sky rocketing cost of living and America is certainly worst now than before.

But like i said. Corporations got a clean huge ass tax break.

Many middle class and poor people LOST deductions which increased there taxes.

You're fucking Trump cock suckers.

They’re just living on borrowed time. Shades of 2008 have been lurking for awhile, but it can only be held off for so long. The rug will eventually be pulled out from beneath these folks feet who try to keep up the facade. We’re working stiffs and cost of living and expenses are astronomical. Debt is as high as it’s ever been with folks these days.

Hell, I make $64,000/year with a company phone, truck, insurance, and a few perks. To live a quality life it takes every bit of what I make.

This is only if you are filing single.

This tax information is misleading.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 51031768

Yep, a single person is not a family and therefore not a middle class family. Furthermore, a single filer has at least a $12k deduction, which means they would need to make over $52k wages to be in 22% bracket, which for a single person is definitely above middle class. A middle class family is $76k for a family of 3.14 = $24k/person.

She likes it.

CPA here, do consulting and contracting mostly, but getting a refund for the first time since high school I think, lol.

I estimated my quarterly payments based on last year's tax rates since the Entertainment deduction didn't get clarification from the IRS until October I think.

Yes, the tax cuts are real despite what the propoganda is trying to allege. That crumb I am getting will pay for a nice little vacation somewhere on the coast of the Mediterranean perhaps.

Or, new camping gear, can't decide.

Anyway, GO Trump and MAGA!!!!!
 Quoting: St. Pete Traveler

We got the largest refund from both Federal and state this year. Nothing has changed in our income status or deductions. We normally would receive about $900 from federal and state. This year we received over $4,000. I was shocked when our CPA told us how large our refund is this year. We have not talked to one person that is getting less this year.

Made 9k more this year, total tax bill was about $1700 less. But I get to write them a check for $4500 because instead of getting a refund in 2016 I applied it to 2017 and then got a refund back last year and reduced my estimates to match the refund.

Most tards like my brother equate smaller refunds or having to pay in with their taxes going up. You have to pull the old forms and see what the total tax was.
