I've quite numerous times and I think the longest was like a year.anyways what I did was switch to punches. Then I switched to snus. But not sure if ya know this or not but the cancer is caused by the combustion process. There was a study showing that you have the same risk of cancer as someone who doesnt dip. Quoting: catapult Oh wow. Really ? Same risk of cancer as someone who doesn't chew? |

It was $.32 a can. Could by it myself at a trailer store in Hammond, IN. The indian family that owned never carded you as long as you acted normal and not nervous. Went to the dentist a couple years ago and had them do a test on my mouth for cancer. All was good. All my uncles chewed and never had cancer. It's all in the GENES!! |

God led me to this book several years ago to quit smoking, and I was able to use the same principles to I learned from the book to kick other addictions..it all comes down to understanding, being able to recognize, and breaking the psychological aspects of addiction. Whether one is successful or not will always come down to that. ftp://securecomp.net/Allen%20Carr%20-%20Easy%20Way%20To%20Stop%20Smoking.pdf Last Edited by Make Free Speech Great Again on 02/21/2019 08:52 PM The real trick is to learn to think critically; ask better and more questions. Don't accept anything at face value. Be sure you're making healthy decisions, getting adequate rest and spending proper time reflecting on things. |

Quoting: catapult Oh wow. Really ? Same risk of cancer as someone who doesn't chew? I cant remember this guys name but hes an oral pathologist at the university of Louisville. Based on his study he doesnt see an increase cancer rates. Now 2 cans a day might be a different story idk. I bought a container with a timer on it that I set so I can regulate my dipping. I do about 3 or 4 dips. If you're really wanting to know more try to catch the guys name in this video [link to m.youtube.com (secure)] |

For the last 20 years. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77155094 How does one go about quitting? Does he have a high change of getting mouth cancer? Stop buying chewing tobacco. Stop putting it in your mouth. It's really that simple but first you have to actually want to quit. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 75942734 United States 02/22/2019 09:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i quit chewing by switching to vaping. vaping allows you to take a hit when you feel withdrawal symptoms, which hit hard at random tkmes of the day. overtime i lowered the dosage until i got to zero nicotine juice. after that i just stopped, which was easy because i never smoked or liked to smoke. took about 3 months and i had been dipping a can a day for 15 years. |
