That is correct, first common misconception about Kamala Harris is that she is Black. She is only 20% Black. Around 30% White and 50% high-caste Aryan Brahman East Indian. Her Jamaican ancestors were the White plantation slave owners who married freed Black slave women.

However her maternal ancestry is even more worrying. Her main genetic component is from the highest-caste of East Indian. Some of them are very intelligent. From her particular caste are - the Google CEO, Raman - Nobel Prize winner, Chandrasekar - Nobel Prize winner, Vishy Anand - former world chess champion.

Its a very small caste and on a per capita basis they would be as intelligent as the Ashkenazi Jews (who have 50% White admixture). So she is NOT your typical AA action Black as she pretends to be.

Kamala Harris will most likely be on the ticket as VP candidate. In reality she is 50% Eastern and extremely anti-North-Western.

She did not grow up in Jamaica. She visited there with her father up until the age of 7, when her father and mother divorced. After that, her mother moved with her to Canada. Not sure when she came back to the US, but, no. Not qualified. She was an anchor baby, as neither of her parents were naturalized at the time of her birth.
