That roundup is in everything we eat to some extent. Even wheat that makes up our bread products. I switched to organic on all of my grains, years ago when I realized. I wonder if this isn’t the cause of a lot of new health epidemics, not just cancer. IDGAF |

Cat in the Tin Foil Hat User ID: 77288913 United States 02/24/2019 11:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why I buy organic, and have bought it in bulk. Oats can last for years in a glass jar, at least five years with a piece of plastic between the jar and lid. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76819314 Wait a minute, what's this in that article? "Further, out of 16 organic oat foods tested, five contained glyphosate, although at levels below EWG’s health benchmark of 160 ppb." They can spray in one field but then it ends up in organic fields too. This. And bugs that aren't immediately killed can carry it to another field before dying. Another huge loophole in the whole "organic" scam is that organic farmers can use fields that have been sprayed with chemicals in the past, so it's in the soil. To officially get the "organic" label, that particular crop can't have been sprayed, but they don't count past crops on that land being sprayed. As you can see "orgainic" isn't as "organic" as it seems. |
