Facebook and Twitter are one thing, those are "platforms".

Any company dealing with financial transactions is not a "platform". Denying people access to money is not even remotely on the same level as not letting someone talk. I don't NEED to be able to express my views, but I do NEED money.

These financial institutions need to be held to much much higher expectations (laws may even be needed) when it comes to self policing. If their client isn't doing something expressly illegal, then these companies should not be allowed to choose who gets money based on their personal feelings.

If you want to be an activist company, then go be one like the SPLC....don't be a financial institution.
