INDIA NUKE WAR TARDS - Nuclear War Winter is NOT possible

A nuclear war will not - cannot - cause a “nuclear winter”

the idea was that burning cities would put a lot of dust and soot into the stratosphere where it would take years to come down and cause a nuclear winter

But we have (inadvertently) run the experiments - today's wild fires a much much worse than any posible city fire - and no nuclear winter!

To actually make a “Nuclear Winter” we need to be talking about tens or hundreds of MILLIONS of tons of dust

A volcano is a different thing

Volcanos DO put cubic miles of dust into the upper atmosphere

This eruption put about 19 MILLION tons of dust into the upper atmosphere and this caused a worldwide temperature drop of about 0.5C

So a bigger or many bigger eruptions could cause a “Volcanic Winter”

No nuclear winter resulted, all of the worlds inhabitants lived.
