Re: Cannabis Cultivation - Canopy vs Quanity
Yes you can do it. But doing it in one room is stupid. You should have at least 4 12 hour dark rooms, staged 2 weeks apart. Then the cloning area, which the canopy is gonna look like little green sticks, so pack them in. You can then have a mass 18 or 24 hour lit room, set up to feed the rotation into the 12s.

Anyone who calls themselves a master grower is a major douche bag, been active 35+ years and shit still happens.

The sog idea is good but i never liked it much imo. Yield is all about the root balls with dirt.

Save yourself some pain and go hydro since you are hiring a "master grower" lol. If you are blowing money on all the toys, its way more yield per ft2.

Thank you AC...very respectable response :)

I can most certainly build (i.e. 4 rooms), the entire operation will be approx. 5000 sqft, including offices, washrooms, lunch/change rooms, dry room, curing, processing, secured storage and a Certified lab/research/nursery License (up to 550 sqft of babies)...and YES, I will protect these babies, unlike the Dims...LOL.

"Master Grower"...That's what Health Canada calls them...so I have to go with it. Basically, anybody who has been growing (grey/black market) for many years with vast knowledge of the entire process of the plant...from Seed to Sale. A typical salary in Canada for this task is from 90-150K per year.

Hydro...yea, someone else said aeroponics too...I'm looking at all options...but Organic is the 'real deal' and provides a higher premium and stronger marketing brand.

Once again AC, thanks for the response...greatly appreciated.

Sure. Also a larger hassle than you might expect is "used dirt management". Also remember every time you bring in new media its a vector for disease and bugs. I get where you are coming from but its way easier to drain to waste, and rip the buds for oils/dabs. Commercial growing is commercial.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

This will be a "commercial" set up...clean rooms and all. You are very astute on the soil management thing. Yes, it would be part of our (many) SOPs (Safe Operating Procedures) that would be certified by Health Canada.

Re-capturing the water on a Hydro system would be fairly simple and economic for sure. Plus the capture of rain/snow water, transforming them back to RO water would be great.

I like talking with people that know what they're talking about thumbs

Ok do t fuck around with the used water. You will NEVER remediate it properly on the regular even with a mass spectrometer. Drain to waste.

Aeroponics Itried in about 1998. Nice roots, ok yield but that pump runs and runs and runs. And runs. Great idea, for like lettuce.

Oh and dont plant in squares. Whatever you go with, one row perroom, with SIDELIGHTS. Those lower buds will add weight.

Even if Jesus grows your bud, some jackass pot snob will have something to say. Those oil cartridges are big profit and you can flavor it how you like. Again, "commercial".

If you want to be "boutique" call it that from the start. Marketing planning starts at square one.

So 30+ years "experience" and an MBA...link to on-line app? ;)

There was no need for all the alarms and Burt Facepalms. You say NO, others say YES (with proper environmental controls). I don't know if you have ever seen a Commercial Cannabis Grow operation but they are very impressive...not your typical closet/basement grow.

Ah man...I know. You guys in the UK...you're on the brink mate, its coming but it most likely will be a few years yet. First step is legalizing CBD. CBD is going to be so f'ing huge. For example...just yesterday, a stock that I've owned for a few months in the CBD Water industry just closed a deal with WalMart to supply over 1000 stores with their line of CBD infused drinks...I bought 100K shares at 0.25 and sold 1/2 position yesterday at 0.90)...that was a nice 40K bump.

Soon, they will be announcing their new deal with GNC Stores...all across America.

My point is...CBD and Medical Marijuana will be the entry point for most countries...then full blown recreational.

There are most certainly going to be some growing pains (no pun intended) for the first while, but soon after, a majority will see and reap the benefits of the Cannabis plant.

Please re-read my posts. not once did I ever state anything over 600Kg (1322Lbs). My License states I'm allowed to grow up to 600Kg of dried/usable product.

Break my License? Pff...I am a certified Safety & Compliance Officer (from Health Canada)...I think I know the legal side of this operation...thank you.
