I'm in the ICU. They put a stint in to open up the completely clogged artery.

I'm going to be fine, but that HURT something fierce!

Now I understand why people say it feels like there's an elephant sitting on your chest.

I still can hardly believe it happened.

So strange!

I swear, I won't be surprised if I leave the planet sooner than later, due to my twin soul or soul mate leaving the end of December.

I've had close calls in my work car since he passed.

So damn weird.....damned

Hey, I don't much like typing on my phone.

I'll be happy to get home, for sure.

I'm 60.

I'm so glad you got to the ER/ICU in time.

How many other GLP'ers may not have been so timely in receiving needed help? We had a few go missing last year with no notice, months remaining on their memberships, and they were members for years.

You're in my prayers CG. Godspeed in your recovery.

And ugh... only a year older than I.

I watched the screen as they put my stent in.
It was really cool when they opened it up and the dark spot on my heart came back to life, it looked like a multi-bolt of lightning.

In my case there was no massive pain. Just a dull pain in center of chest and a slight pain in lower left jaw.

Ugh, one artery was 100 percent clogged. The rest were clear, and I got to the hospital and into the Cath Lab quickly, so there is no permanent damage.

OP, I am curious as to whether you were doing anything or did it just come out of nowhere? I am a 52 yo male and every once in a while my heart flutters and I am like, "Ok, here it comes".
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75972413

I am the same age.

Same thing I am going through.

You should see a doctor, they will put a heart monitor of some type on you. If there are abnormalities detected in the readings, they may send you to an heart electrician specialist. You maybe a possible pacemaker candidate.

You may only notice a few times here and there, but most times you will not even notice or feel anything, as in my case.

Very Important, heart Papulations can cause plaque to break off in an artery, causing a heart attack or stroke.

OMG Cosmic!!! I started to poke my head into your thread but got distracted watching a movie and I wake up to this?

I'm so thankful you did not ignore the symptoms. I once knew a lady who ignored her "heartburn" all day until late in the afternoon, when she went to the doc he told her she had been having a heart attack all day. Even though they got her to the hospital the damage had been done and she passed away...all because she ignored the symptoms.

Glad to know you're doing well this morning but sheesh, none of just ever know about life do we.

The pain was all across my chest, and only a little bit up into my jaw and down my arm.

I was too drugged up on Fentynol to watch, but that would've been cool to see the heart muscle come back to life.

Vitamin K2 (and D) makes the calcium go to the hard parts of the body (teeth, bones) rather than get deposited in the soft parts (arteries, joints, kidneys, eyes).

K2 you only get from fermented foods.
