Dang!!! Wishing you a complete and speedy recovery! Have you heard of Strauss Heart Drops? I take it and my last Coronary Calcium scan showed -0- blockage. Obviously, follow what your doctor instructs, but it helped me

Re: Sheesh, I had a heart attack last night
I'm an herbalist...at the first sign of a heart attack or stroke, mix a teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder into a half cup or so if water...drink down quickly, take an aspirin or two with it. This can literally save your life...years ago these group of doctors were having a conference about cayenne pepper stopibg stroke and heart attack, and one of the female doctors actually had a stroke right there! They administered the cayenne and it worked...not only does it stop stroke, but it does so without any lasting effects, like brain damage. I've been telling people this many years on here, except the last few years I've been constantly banned for not supporting trump! Could have saved more lives....tell everyone you know this. Personally, I prefer cayenne in capsules...I make my own capsules...make sure you get organic, too...cayenne peppers are known for the many pesticides sprayed on them. Check to see if you have a smart meter installed at your home...they can cause heart attacks and more. Good luck! Hint: carry cayenne capsules with you daily...I put them in my purse and don't leave home without them...someone else may need them too. Don't expect your cardiologist to know about this. They are taught by big pharma, not nature.

I'm in the ICU. They put a stint in to open up the completely clogged artery.

I'm going to be fine, but that HURT something fierce!

Now I understand why people say it feels like there's an elephant sitting on your chest.

Get well soon!

You have many years ahead of you.

Here's some healthy 'natural' type health things you might want to research.

I know nothing of your diet, but if you aren't already i'd strongly recommend eating Organic as much as you can, and try to cut out all processed foods

A dash of Cayanne pepper (I put it on a shot of water) helps increase blood flow. CoQ10 is also an amazing anti-oxidant and phenomenal for your heart health.

I always recommend CBD (the real stuff, there's a lot of fake out there) it's expensive but it really does work wonders from Lazarusnaturals.com they have a big discount for Veterans and those with Disabilities (I would wager that if you showed them your paperwork regarding Heart Attack they'd help you out)

You might also want to look into 'grounding' where you plug a wire into the earth and connect it to your bed sheets. There's some good sheets out there with silver threads that don't feel like you're sleeping on metal, also I don't believe in plugging the grounding wire into the grounding socket, it works best going into the Earth. Grounding has been shown to help with circulation as well.

Thanks for this Information.
My mom has heart problems and I need to know what to do if something like this started to happen.

Anyone could have a heart attack or stroke. My 35 year old brother had one last year.

I will get the cayenne pepper and aspirin!

I think your Information here will save many lives.

OP, I am curious as to whether you were doing anything or did it just come out of nowhere? I am a 52 yo male and every once in a while my heart flutters and I am like, "Ok, here it comes".
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75972413

I am the same age.

Same thing I am going through.

You should see a doctor, they will put a heart monitor of some type on you. If there are abnormalities detected in the readings, they may send you to an heart electrician specialist. You maybe a possible pacemaker candidate.

You may only notice a few times here and there, but most times you will not even notice or feel anything, as in my case.

Very Important, heart Papulations can cause plaque to break off in an artery, causing a heart attack or stroke.
 Quoting: Pony Up

Good information. I didn't know this. I had the worst fluttering episode last night. I read once that coughing could be helpful during a heart attack because it sends oxygen to the heart. I don't know if its true, but I do force a cough if I feel the heart fluttering, it stops it right away. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, a cough does the trick.

Now however, every time I cough I'm going to be thinking of breaking calcifications running through my arteries. Fantasticobanana2

Re: Sheesh, I had a heart attack last night
I had one of those in the LAD (the widow maker)in 2004. No pain, though, just extreme shortness of breath and exhaustion. Couldn't get off the sofa. I waited 5 days before realizing that it wasn't fatigue from the trip to Philly for a funeral.

The doc said it was 98% occluded with a blood clot sitting on top of the plaque. He said that the blood cells were literally lined up trying to squeeze through the tiny space.

I didn't die because it wasn't my time to die.The stage was set, but the show didn't go on.

I had another one in 2013 on the right side. Had a stent inserted and was ok until April of 2018.

I went to the ER in April and because I didn't complain of pain - just extreme shortness of breath - they refused to believe it was cardiac related. They said it was pulmonary and sent me home with a tank of oxygen.

Went to the ER of another hospital and a heart cath showed a 100% blockage. They said that they didn't have anyone on staff who was skilled enough to get through the blockage and sent me home. I still didn't die - even with 100% blockage.

So, I went to another hospital hoping to find a cardiologist who had special training for these complete blockages. They have tiny drills to plow through the blockage. This time success.

I still can hardly believe it happened.

So strange!

I swear, I won't be surprised if I leave the planet sooner than later, due to my twin soul or soul mate leaving the end of December.

I've had close calls in my work car since he passed, including the wipe out I had in my work car, the same day he passed. I was one lucky puppy nobody was coming on the highway from the other way!

So damn weird.....damned
