Hahaha me too!!! I am thinking of you and sending you strength and hugs.
Quoting: CrankyFairy1 Thanks, youse guyses!....
I'll tell ya, I can use all the prayers and well wishes I can get. I'm working on quitting cigs AND sugar AND meat, all at the same time. Working being the operative word.
I feel like a big ole Homer Simpson....DOH! DOH! DOH!
I'm back to work, which is fabulous, except I wanted to wring my client's throat this morning, because she would ask me a question, I'd start to answer her, and then she'd freaking interrupt me, complaining about the reason for the question. This went on for an hour. Of course, it doesn't help I'm quitting everything like I am. I was in one hella pissy mood this morning.
I got to go shopping at Sprouts in Las Cruces yesterday, and I did buy a half pound of grass fed ground beef to make a small meatloaf with, so I'm going to damn well enjoy that! It's probably my last meatloaf, one of my comfort foods.
I also bought $25 worth of organic vegies and apples and raspberries....heh, the raspberries are already gone. I'll have to get me some more of those on Thursday when I go back. I love 'em.
I figure if I'm stuffing my face with organic fruits and vegies and yogurt, then I won't gain as much weight from quitting the cigs.
I'm just about finished with that pack of cigs I bought last week...two more left. I'm not buying more. Again.
BUT, since the stent has been put in I JUST found out I can vape! Before the stent, I'd feel like my lungs were caving in on me when I'd hit the vape, but now not.
Being able to vape is going to make quitting easier. I'm thinking of giving myself three months to be nicotine free.
....and I lost six lbs. last week. I think that's probably from water weight going away, due to the clogged artery being opened. I'm going to ask the doc tomorrow if that's the likely reason.
I want to thank youse guyses from the bottom of my cranky, but healing heart for all the prayers and well wishes....
