Sheesh, I had a heart attack last night

I've had one piece of garlic bread since the attack, and that was not long after the attack, a few days I think. I had it with shrimp pasta, and that's the last time I've had pasta. That's nearly two weeks.

I'm doing very good diet-wise....

Remember I'm the one who had a heart attack same night as you and couldn't make it to the ER ... I had to deal with the waves of heart squeezing for over 4 hours... which was caused by an allergic reaction *and* being in love with a girl who wasn't sure about our relationship ... and we were supposed to go out earlier that day but didn't ... in other words my heart was under stress lol all hit me at once

But now a month later, my report... I've been taking enteric coated serrapeptase every day (2 capsules in the morning, 2 in evening), along with super greens (wheatgrass, spirulina) and raw chocolate (cacao) powdered shakes once a day... and happy to say I'm doing better myself

Amazed how long it took for my blood pressure to return back to normal (few weeks). Was dealing with blotchy skin and puffy face but now getting full night's rest. It's great:)

Yes first time in my life anything like this has happened (I'm almost 40) and at the time I saw your post... thought what were the chances someone else went through something similar with my GLP family? No coincidences in life.

Anyway, feels good to have a new lease on life, sure you feel the same. I thank God and ask for grace every day when I wake up:)

Yes, I most definitely feel the same regarding having a new lease on life. It feels great, eh?

In case you don't know, I gotta tell you about juicing celery. My BP lowers to great levels within an hour after drinking it. It's really good medicine, in more ways than one. Here's a link to the thread so you can see it, in case you haven't already--

Pomegranate juice is awesome for heart health, also. I drink a glass of organic pomegranate juice everyday.

I'm also taking serrapeptase, along with other supplements good for my arteries. I'm on a mission to get them closer to healthy again.

I start cardio-rehab tomorrow. Oh yay.

I put it off for about a month or so, probably more - in my defense I've been working A LOT - and I had an in-town run taking a man to where I'm supposed to go for the rehab, and I had to open my mouth and ask about an appointment.

I swear, I can't get away with anything....

I'm ok. Got a friend stressing me out. He blew up his truck, which I've already put together twice for him and he's leaning on me to get his toy back together because camping season. He's got a camper that weighs around 20,000lbs and can't keep his foot out of it when towing.

Considering disowning him. Feels like abuse.

Oh, but yeah, I have to do some test on the treadmill tomorrow. Six minutes of walking....which it'll probably be going so fast I'm going to feel like I need to run. As if.

It will probably kill me....


Not really, but my knee is going to blow up. That's why I haven't been out walking the past coupla years. My knees and feet swell up and hurt like the dickens. I used to be able to walk three miles a day, most days of the week, years ago.

Yeah, them knees. Thought I did mine in after I had my hips replaced but they seem to have made a comeback. Drink lots of water and give them plenty of rest when they hurt. Those compression thingeys (I called them knee socks) actually work pretty good!

Ohhh, that's a lot of work fixing up a blown up truck. And you've done it twice. You're a nice Mettalica head.

It means when you're pulling a heavy load you shouldn't be trying to race other trucks up the mountain, which is when his truck decides it wants my attention. He's thick headed, if nothing else.

I think I had a panic attack the other day over it. lol!

Sheesh, if it's that bad, just tell the dude your auto mechanic shop is closed for redecorating....or some manly reason.

I however have little patience for people who will take advantage of my otherwise good nature.....so, yeah. I wouldn't be fixing his truck up for him a third time.
