Once seen, IT sees you seeing IT and the underlying nature of The Cosmic Joke™ is revealed and can be readily observed and interacted with.
Flip it and the search for meaning and purpose takes on an entirely new glow, however, to what effectively meaningful end isn't probably ours to know.
