In a vacuum I do not think that you can even have combustion.

In science observation beats theory every time. Rocket propulsion works in space, why it does is secondary. You not understanding the why, or being very confused about it, doesn't change the facts.  Give this demonstration then that disproves it. If you're going to post some space video from NASA then go fuck yourself. Fuckwit.
