Only one problem with your charts. In 1937 there was a free market with no plunge protectionteam. Today the PPT, and the fed manipulates everything.....

first for the market to crash, you must identify an indices that is capable of producing a major disruption. then you must evaluate whether a particular indices is teetering on failure.

in 2008 that indices was housing. the derivatives financially backing that indices were overextended.

the current climate is all financially backed by overextended derivatives. the trick is determining which bubble is most likely to burst first.
