And why can’t you get the blockage removed here in the US?

Go to Mayo Clinic or Cleveland Clinic. Do not seek help in a foreign country! We chose Cleveland Clinic for the open heart surgery. People come there from all over the world! They have apartments available a few blocks from the Clinic. People live there for transplants. We met a few parents and children on the free shuttle bus. They also have the Ronald McDonald House one block away. Families stay there FREE for any kids 30 years of age or younger who are being treated at the Clinic. The Clinic is huge! So big that they have their own zip code! Sorry, I don't know anything about Mayo Clinic. I just know it's the best for all medical and surgical needs. Cleveland is the best for heart problems. That's why we chose a surgeon there. He was unbelievable! The best! World renowned! Before finding him, I googled and called organizations related to open heart surgery for the specific procedure she needed.
