The RCC didn't exist until at least the 4th century.

"Catholic" in Ignatius's time did NOT MEAN the RCC.

Clement is only listed as a pope because the RCC back-dated their existence all the way to Peter.

Look at the previous posts I made in this topic.

Do the research.

I have nothing against Catholic believers, but the Vatican's claims are nothing but assimilations of the churches the Apostles made.

That’s what a non-Catholic Christian would have to believe to justify not being Catholic, yes. It is complete nonsense though.

I’ve done my own research btw. Your sources clearly have an anti-Catholic agenda and ignore accepted history that doesn’t fit their views.

Accepted by who?

You mean like the "history / facts" of evolution that's rammed down school kids throats?

Here's some FACTS that you CAN NOT deny.
--------------------------------------------

The congregation set up by Paul in Rome became a church with a bishop, just like dozens of others around the Mediterranean.

And ALL so-called early "popes" were basically nothing more than bishops, with no true authority over Christendom.

Only through subsequent Edicts did the church in Rome start claiming authority over the next several centuries.

The Church gradually became a defining institution of the Roman Empire. Emperor Constantine issued the Edict of Milan in 313 proclaiming toleration for the Christian religion, and convoked the First Council of Nicaea in 325 whose Nicene Creed included belief in "one holy catholic and apostolic Church". Emperor Theodosius I made Nicene Christianity the state church of the Roman Empire with the Edict of Thessalonica of 380.

Through such "Edicts" Rome mixed pagan statues, beliefs etc...into the "church", turning the apostolic churches into a hiararchy / tradition-laden religion, just like Judaism had become.

The Waldensians LEFT the Rome area because of such.

God and His Son Jesus finally got fed up with the RCC, and initiated the Reformation, which led to each person reading the Bible and following Jesus and the Father, not human popes who tried to prevent those things.

Hopefully you’re just ignorant. I’ll pray for you! Don’t harden your heart because you want to be right. Look at the evidence of the early church fathers. They’re Catholic. God will judge your heart!

This is about Justin Martyr (155 AD) which the Church has many Catholic writings from:
