Just came across this and wow this is not natural def manufactured looks like a shiny steel type!! [ link to www.gigapan.com] What say you ? go to snap shots and look for the one with a perfect circular hole in the debris I haven't found your anomaly yet... what I'm trippin' on is the fact that there seems to be some sort of 'atmosphere' (clouds/smoke) around that hill that comes-up if you just click in a few times from the spot it gives you... Shouldn't be happening- that sort of visual diffusion is from 'stuff' (water vapor, smoke or other gasses)- of which Mars isn't suppose to have much- first time I have seen this in one of these "deep field' images. cool
