Well, it is not going to help if they are unvaccinated.
The problem with that argument is that most countries south of us have better vaccination rates than the USA.
And all the recent outbreaks have been caused by unvaccinated US citizens traveling to countries where measles is endemic and bringing back a little souvenir for their unvaccinated US citizen compatriots.
Our own unvaccinated citizens are the ones responsible for these measles outbreaks.

You will do better to not include that argument in the discussion of illegal immigration.
There are many other valid arguments against illegal immigration without ruining your credibility by citing a piece of disinfo about measles outbreaks.
