The right tent for me | |

Or else will have to open or close them on the outside again! Searching on line doesn’t seem to specify. When & why did they decide this outside window option? All I can say is that they are stupid designers!!!! Truth is stranger than fiction |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77452348 United States 03/13/2019 03:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I love to tent camp. The problem I have had is that the windows all seem to open & close on the outside now! Who wants to climb outside to close or open windows? I prefer a four man tent when it’s normally 2 camping; the extra room is for clothing, bathing items & room for card or board games..room to set them up & not be crowded. I keep a smaller tent for food items in sealed crates & other gear not needed daily. Quoting: Ohmygosh But I am having difficulty finding tents with indoor windows now!!! And the ones I do find are much larger & top 200$!!! Any leads? Bing it or google it |

Keeps you up off the ground and you can park in the rv section. Another cool thing is all your shit is right there with you. It has a passage to gain access to the cab., so you run power from your ports in the cab. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71588497 And if you want to change spots or reposition it, no problem. |

They gave a decent sleep, but they were cumbersome & left little room in the car for the rest of our gear. I got lucky and found a triple fold mattress, it takes some space in the car but I just put it on the back seat & put other gear on top. It’s nice & thick, but I have never found another one like it. It also makes for a decent guest bed. Truth is stranger than fiction |
Ohmygosh (OP) User ID: 69118180 United States 03/16/2019 02:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks! Right now it is me on the look out for the right tent! Lol The best tent I ever owned was an 8 man tent, but it was a simple dome tent so I was still able to set it up by myself when needed. It had 3 or 4 inside windows! I even had folks watch me set it up & come over to ask if they could look inside! I guess they were amazed that I was able to set it up by myself. I loaned it to someone who didn’t stake it down & it blew away in a storm! They found it, but it was destroyed. They replaced it as best as they could, but I still miss that tent!
